Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 2-3 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • Grillheads Jack of All Rubs

Instructions

  1. Get your smoker or grill going
  2. Gently soft-boil eggs for 6 minutes
  3. Peel eggs
  4. Thaw and divide the sausage into 5 parts. Roll each part into a ball and flatten it out on the counter. Use a spatula to remove the sausage from the counter.
  5. Put the egg in the middle of the sausage patty and fully cover the egg. You might have to pinch the sausage to keep it around the egg.
  6. Place on indirect heat at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
  7. Brush on BBQ sauce and let cook for another 7-10 minutes
  8. Layer on a light coating of Grillheads Jack of All Rubs!
  9. Enjoy!

These Smoked Scotch Eggs aren’t just a breakfast upgrade—they’re a full-on backyard showstopper. The rich egg, juicy sausage, and smoky crust come together for a bite that’s bold, layered, and totally craveable.
